Where It All Began
Hey!
I’m Ana Brezovec, artist, designer and all around creative behind Anna Bressi Creative Studio. I am passionate about art, design & everything aesthetic. My designs frequently explore expressions and emotions with minimalism and soft touches of color. With my work I strive to evoke warm, calm and happy feelings. I love switching between different mediums & trying new things. That’s why my work ranges from painting to graphic design and illustration, to apparel collections and even jewelry design - always inspired to create something special.
It’s safe to say, that I have always been a creative kid, constantly busy drawing and making things. While in high school I set my creative side aside, I soon became drawn back to it and chose to study Interior Design. I learned a lot about design and most importantly, years at Uni helped me define the sense of my personal style and aesthetics.
Fast forward 4 years (2018), I got my Bachelors degree, took my best friend with me and we moved to Australia on a working holiday visa.
The trip was one of the best experiences of my life, but finding a job wasn’t as easy as we thought. So when money started running out, I needed to figure out something quickly. And like every person my age has probably already done at some point in their life- I googled “how to make money online”. (Don’t judge, I was getting desperate haha ). Of course I turned to the thing I knew the most- drawing. The last bit of money that I had, I invested in an Ipad and started illustrating peoples portraits. And ohh, ohh look at that - I actually started making some money! (to my own surprise too). I soon realized, to the contrary of what others have always told me, I could actually make a living with my art. From there I began working on my creative business with projects ranging from fine art to graphic design, even childrens illustration and it soon became my full time job.
When I returned to my home country in Europe, I moved in with my boyfriend to a beautiful coastal town where I set up my studio. Art has been my ful time job since than which I express through my paintings & prints as well as helping other creative business women reaching their potential through brand design.
I wanted to thank you, as it is all because of you and your support, that I get to have a career that I love and live out my creative dream life.
Stay lovely.
