Framing Your New Artwork
As for now, I do not offer framing myself (shipping glass can be very problematic, and the costs are huge), but I wanted to offer some solutions for when you receive the artworks.
OPTION 1. : LOCAL FRAMER
For the best result go to your local professional framer to frame up your new print. Framers are experts and you can trust they will do the artwork all the justice it deserves. Another benefit of this is that you can see all the options they provide and and even get something totally custom.
OPTION 2. : BUY A READY FRAME
Most of my prints come in standard paper sizes (A5-A1), I do this on purpose to make finding a frame easier! Also if you need a specific size that is not listed you can always contact me! There are some really good quality off-the-shelf frames available these days.
OPTION 3. : MOUNTING & MATTING
Mounting and matting also give art more options when it comes to frame sizes. Instead of being forced to make a print fit the standard frame dimensions or it being limited to standard frame sizes for wall display, a mount can be inserted into a much larger frame, by cutting the mounting board to fit the frame.
MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES:
For Art Prints: Wooden frame with a nice quality mount board ( I personally feel it adds so much elegance to the piece)
For Canvas: Wooden floater frame
